Situated in the picturesque fishing village of Shieldaig on the North West Atlantic coast of the Scottish Highlands, The Lobster Pot is a stylish, newly renovated 2 bedroom self-catering apartment ideally positioned to explore the Applecross Peninsula and Torridon Mountains. Opened in Spring 2018 we are now available for bookings of 3 night weekends (Fri-Mon), 4 night mid week breaks (Mon-Fri) or full weeks (Fri-Fri).
This beautifully-appointed open plan apartment is positioned right in the heart of the historic fishing village of Shieldaig. Ideally situated for a taste of village life; it’s just moments from the water's edge, close to the cosy local pub and Coastal Kitchen Restaurant and just a short stroll away from the famous Nanny's Coffee Shop, making it an ideal holiday rental for couples and young families.
The Lobster Pot has been stylishly decorated with nods to its Highland and maritime heritage combined with the simplicity of Nordic design, it is an example of contemporary coastal living.
With all the modern amenities and touches you would expect in a luxury apartment, The Lobster Pot has been renovated to meet all your holiday needs. With Neff appliances and a well equipped kitchen with a bespoke reclaimed breakfast bar, it's the perfect venue for long evening meals of fresh local shellfish, whilst relaxing with a glass of wine by the log burning fire.
A Samsung SMART TV with Netflix, a Bluetooth Speaker and Free Wifi means you can be as connected as you want to be.....or simply switch off and enjoy the breathtaking views of Beinn Shieldaig towering above.
You'll enjoy a restful nights sleep after all the Atlantic sea air as you rest in a luxurious SuperKing Bed with Egyptian Cotton sheets and down duvet. The Lobster Pot also has a beautiful twin room and a generous shower room to unwind in after a long day exploring the inlets and bays of the local coastline.
Enjoying its own private access and parking, the apartment is situated to the right of the larger house. Please feel free to come say hi, our door is always open or simply enjoy the privacy and peace and quiet that comes with staying at The Lobster Pot.
The Lobster Pot is the perfect base for a short or long break discovering and enjoying the playground of the North West Highlands. For the outdoor enthusiast the options are endless.... from scaling mountains, mountain biking the world class trails of Torridon, sea kayaking or swimming the pristine waters of Loch Shieldaig, spotting our resident sea eagles soaring above their island nesting spot, cycling the famous Bealach Na Ba loop, or enjoying beautiful local walks -the cosy surrounds of The Lobster Pot await you on your return from your days adventuring. Explore the Applecross Peninsula, taking in the rich local culture and history whilst sampling the delights of the world class seafood available on your doorstep.
